China's waste plastic recycling market has broad prospects

As a measure to save energy and protect the environment, the recycling of used plastics is receiving increasing attention. In particular, the work of developed countries started early and has already received significant benefits. As the price advantage of recycled plastics is prominent and the benefits are obvious, the recycling market for waste plastics in China has also become a climate. In the past, waste plastic foam that was not worth much has risen from 2 yuan/kg to about 3.8 yuan/kg now, and recently, with international and domestic plastics. In the raw materials market, the market for recycled plastics is in short supply, and the import of waste plastics is also on the rise.

All developing countries need to import waste plastics to meet the needs of the domestic plastics processing industry. According to calculations, the cost of reusing the waste plastics is only 50% of that of genuine raw materials. Of course, the Vietnamese government emphasizes that waste plastics refers to scraps and non-compliance products made from plastic products rather than plastic waste. In developed countries, there is a strict management approval system for imported plastic waste, and there are strict regulations for the import of plastic products.

In developed countries and regions, renewable resources are mainly sourced from domestic sources, and the recycled materials industry is mainly responsible for solving the problem of waste plastics in the country. There are very few cases of importing high-quality recyclable waste plastics from abroad. Foreign recycling of waste plastics uses melting regeneration and thermal decomposition methods. The former is also widely used in China, while the latter is because of the high technical equipment requirements, which are rare in China. It can be seen that the use of laws and regulations has a very important role in the import and recycling of waste plastics, and with the increase in the consumption of plastic products.
