On July 8, Fuji Xerox (China) Co., Ltd. partnered with Fogra, the German Research Association for Graphics Arts and Technology, to host a color management standards promotion event and announce the awarding of Fogra certification. Industry leaders from both organizations, including Fuji Xerox's color management experts and Fogra representatives, gathered to discuss the significance of color management in digital printing and share best practices. The collaboration aims to drive the integration of traditional offset printing with digital printing, supporting Chinese companies in becoming more competitive on the global stage.
Fuji Xerox offers comprehensive color management services, including consulting, quality control system development, and standardization certification, helping digital printing companies in China meet international benchmarks. Fogra, a leading authority in printing research and ISO certification, plays a key role in shaping industry standards globally. Its expertise is highly respected, and it has significantly contributed to the advancement of printing technology worldwide.
Fuji Xerox is the only digital printing equipment supplier in China that holds both Fogra and G7 certifications. With its support, several Chinese digital printing companies, such as Chengdu Sanwu Express Digital Graphic Co., Ltd., Fujian Jinjiang Digital Printing Co., Ltd., and Hangzhou York Graphic Design Co., Ltd., became the first in China to pass Fogra certification. This achievement highlights the growing influence of Chinese companies in the global printing market.
Berthold Oberhollenzer from Fogra emphasized that as more international orders are produced in China, the demand for global standards is increasing. He noted that color management standardization is setting new benchmarks for the digital printing industry.
