Hunan builds the largest standardized mahogany furniture store in Central and South China

The opening of the Goodnight·China Redwood Pavilion B has marked a significant milestone, as it officially established the largest trading space for mahogany furniture in the Central South region, spanning 80,000 square meters. Alongside this, the 2014 China Redwood Pavilion Cup and the Jinqiu Mass Culture and Art Festival, along with the second edition of the China Redwood Kistler Expo, commenced at the Jipu Industrial Park in Yuelu District, Changsha. The event ran for a full 10 days, drawing visitors from across the region. At 10 a.m., the opening ceremony was graced by notable figures including He Jiahua, Deputy Mayor of Changsha City, Chen Zhong, Secretary of the Yuelu District Party Committee, and Zhou Zhikai, the district head, who jointly cut the ribbon to officially launch the exhibition. He Jihua emphasized during his speech that since the opening of Phase A, the Chinese Redwood Pavilion has become a key platform for the public to access and learn about high-quality mahogany furniture. He expressed hope that the pavilion would continue to promote and support the industry, offering a valuable space for exhibitions and interactions. He also extended a warm welcome to the redwood fair, promising an enriching cultural experience alongside premium products and services. The event kicked off with a vibrant performance, featuring the song "Daughter's Love," dynamic male and female vocal performances, and magic acts that captivated the audience. Additionally, a WeChat lottery with grand prizes added excitement to the opening. The main attraction of the expo was undoubtedly the mahogany furniture. In the Goodnight Industrial Park, visitors were amazed by centuries-old mahogany pieces, intricate root carvings crafted by national-level artists, and rare ancient fossils. According to the organizers, the two exhibition halls and one special area covered nearly 100,000 square meters, showcasing over 1 billion yuan worth of redwood items. From the day of the event until the 27th of this month, the Hunan·Huesu Redwood Art Museum within the Chinese Redwood Pavilion will be open to the public free of charge. This includes displays of top-tier mahogany furniture and rare porcelain collections from the Hunan Yusu Red Guanyao Ceramics Pavilion. Among the highlights are a Vietnamese huanghuali arhat bed valued at over 10 million yuan and a high-priced porcelain bowl priced at 8 million yuan, both making their debut at the event. In celebration of the first anniversary of Hall A’s opening, the official launch of Hall B, and the second session of the Redwood Kistler Expo, the China Redwood Pavilion selected 20 out of nearly 300 brands to participate in a zero-margin order initiative. This aims to provide consumers with premium mahogany products directly from the source. The manufacturers involved are all original producers from the five major redwood regions in China, ensuring factory-direct shipments without intermediaries. As the largest third-party mahogany trading platform in Hunan, the pavilion also offers third-party guarantees, price protection, and value assurance, along with comprehensive after-sales services such as repairs and maintenance.
