“Paper furniture offers high value, is eco-friendly, and is light and easy to handle,†said Wang. “We believe it has a bright future in the market.†As demand grows, paper furniture is becoming a key driver of growth for the factory, signaling a shift toward greener, more innovative practices.
To reach a wider audience, the factory is now working with e-commerce platforms like JD.com. They're also offering custom designs, allowing customers to tailor their furniture to fit their unique living spaces. This personalized approach is helping to build a stronger connection between the brand and its customers.
In addition to its new product line, the factory is also focusing on revitalizing its old facilities. Since 2013, they've invested 200 million yuan in building the Beijing North Carton Packaging Technology Innovation Industrial Park. Covering 110,000 square meters, the project is being developed in three phases. The first phase, which includes an 18,000-square-meter area, is already completed, and 15 companies, including Xiaomi, have already moved in.
At the same time, the factory is upgrading its core packaging services. “Packaging is our foundation, and we can't afford to lose it,†said Wang. They’re now focusing on medical-grade packaging that is sterile, non-toxic, and environmentally safe, ensuring the health and safety of end-users.
