Three Steps for Printing Machine Installation: Basics, Assembly, Debugging

The quality of the press installation will affect the failure rate and longevity of the press in the future. Some companies are quick to install the machine and plan to save time, thinking that as early as one day after booting, it will produce economic benefits as early as one day. As everyone knows, this only focuses on the immediate interests and will bring endless danger to the machine in the future. The installation of the printing press is usually divided into three major steps: playing the foundation, installation and commissioning. Let's analyze these three steps separately.

First, play the foundation

When we have finished ordering the press, or decided to relocate the press, we must begin to consider the basic issues. For small printing presses (usually referring to business card machines, eight-opening printing presses, etc.), due to their light weight, there is no problem with the concrete floor of a general factory. Like a business card machine can even be put on the table to produce. For large printing presses, their own weight is measured in tons. According to the weight of the machine and the local geological conditions, it is generally necessary to pour the foundation of reinforced concrete: If necessary, piling is also required to ensure that they do not sink or sink. The printing press itself has basic explanations and drawings, and it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions. Do not arbitrarily reduce the number of cement or reduce the amount of cement and the depth of reinforced concrete in order to reduce costs. This is very dangerous. The printing press is generally divided into a printing section, a paper feeding section, and a delivery section. The printing department is the heaviest in these three parts, so its foundation should be the deepest and the requirements for reinforced concrete are relatively high. Before the pouring of concrete, it is necessary to make a reservation for the ditch. If necessary, it is necessary to reserve the position of the ditch and the upper and lower water. After pouring the concrete, there is a certain amount of time to maintain the ground (the deeper the foundation, the lower the temperature, the longer the conservation time), and the foundation will be stronger and more stable.

Second, install

After the basic maintenance is over, you can install the machine. For small presses, the horizontal and vertical levels should be taken from the impression cylinder on the machine and the anchor bolts should be set. Large-scale printing presses are more complex. They need to be lined up on the basis of the position of the paper supply section, printing section, and delivery section. The experienced porters will lay the departments safely and steadily. Speaking off topic, if the value of the machine is high, it must be insured before handling. Otherwise, once accidents occur during lifting and transportation, the loss will be heavy. Clean the surface of the impression cylinder (or non-adjustable cylinder if there is no impression cylinder). Place a spirit level across the surface of the drum, and place the same two levels in the longitudinal direction on the machined surface of the upper panel on both sides of the printing section. Of course, the surface of the upper surface of the wall should be cleaned. It is recommended to use a level gauge with an error below 0.02mm. By adjusting the anchor bolts, the three levels on the printing section are displayed horizontally, and then the paper feed section is installed. According to the instructions of the machine, use the ruler to make the distance between the two sides of the paper supply part and the print part on both sides match, and the distance between them should meet the requirements. Then use a thin nylon thread against the inside of the wallboards on the side of the printing section and the paper supply section so that they are in a line. At the same time, the paper supply department itself should also look for horizontal and vertical levels just as we adjusted the level of the printing department. The last is the delivery department. Like the paper feed unit, the paper take-up unit also finds its own position with the print unit. Only the nylon thread passes through the paper supply section and the printing section and draws the wall panel, and then adjusts the position of the delivery section. All three parts are in line by adjustment. Repeatedly verify these three parts, both to their own level, but also parallel to each other, the same distance and meet the requirements of the installation instructions. After confirming that there are no problems, fix the screws or use other methods to firmly secure the printers to the ground. Then install the printer's main motor, water tank, the drive shaft between the various parts and pedals, guardrails and other ancillary devices. At the same time, it began to install cables, lighting and water pipes, air pipes, etc. After the installation is complete, you can proceed to the next stage.

Third, debugging

Debugging is the most complicated and the most test of our work. It is careful and patient, and we must also pay attention to safety. After electricity, water, and gas are all in place, do not turn on the power supply first, but use the method of manual turning. Move the machine and feel the operation without block or abnormal noise. After confirming that there are no problems, you can start the machine. First point the car, always pay attention to whether the machine has abnormal noise, and pay attention to observe the ammeter. If there is more current than the machine allows, it indicates that the machine has large resistance and is faulty. After troubleshooting, it can be run slowly, and then a little bit of speed increase. At the same time, observe the lubrication of gearbox oil. Determined to be correct after the parking installation cloth, liner, on the version, add ink, on (wear) paper. At the same time, then operate the machine to the item function to see if it is normal. Confirm it without error to start the trial printing. The empty car does not press through the paper to see how the paper runs and whether there is any pleat or tear. In particular, rotary presses have high speeds and are prone to paper failures, so special attention must be paid. If there is no problem, you can combine the water roller, ink roller, and pressure test. According to the situation of the trial printing, we should solve each problem one by one, and we must not run with "diseases." Once put into normal operation, the speed of the rotary printing press should be controlled within 70% of the maximum speed, and the speed of the single-sheet printing press should be controlled within 50%. According to the situation of the printed job, the oil in the printing department will be replaced after one or two months of operation. The speed of the web can be gradually increased to 90% of the maximum speed. The speed of the sheet-fed press can be increased to 70% of the maximum speed. Generally do not produce at maximum speed for a long time. The price to do this is several times the wear of the machine's normal production.

Finally, after using the printer for 3-6 months, the machine itself may undergo slight changes due to various reasons such as foundation settlement and machine vibration. The conditional manufacturer can then follow the second step to find out the level and the positional relationship between the various parts (at this time, the adjustment amount should be very small), so that the installation of the printing press can be better.
