Warm and simple small-sized U-shaped cloakroom to solve the storage troubles

China Wardrobe is a 120m² three-bedroom apartment designed with a warm and cozy style in mind. The owner prefers a home filled with warm tones and soft lighting, so the design incorporates plenty of log-colored materials throughout the space. The bedroom area is notably larger than the living room, and a small cloakroom of around 4m² has been added to address storage challenges in smaller units.

Overall Design Description:

1. The small room has been moved inward, adjacent to the living room wall, effectively expanding the living area. The walls of both the living room and the small room serve as TV background panels, allowing for better integration with the garden and balcony views from within the home.

2. In the master bedroom, the smaller bay window area has been reimagined for additional storage. A "U"-shaped wardrobe is installed in the recessed wall space, maximizing storage while maintaining a sleek and functional look.

Veneer Moulded Door

Veneer molded door is a type of interior door that is constructed using a molded core and covered with a thin layer of wood veneer on the surface. It is designed to mimic the appearance of solid wood doors while offering cost savings and increased stability.

The core of a veneer molded door is typically made from a composite material such as medium-density fiberboard (MDF) or particleboard. These materials are engineered to be strong and stable, reducing the likelihood of warping or twisting over time. The core is molded into the desired shape, which can include panel designs or raised molding details.

On the surface of the molded core, a thin layer of real wood veneer is applied. Veneer is a sliced or peeled layer of wood that is typically around 1/32 to 1/16 of an inch thick. It is carefully selected to have an attractive grain pattern and is bonded to the core using adhesives. The veneer layer gives the door the appearance of solid wood, allowing it to blend in seamlessly with other wood elements in the room.

Veneer molded doors offer several advantages over solid wood doors. They are generally more affordable, as the use of composite materials and veneer allows for cost savings compared to using solid wood throughout the door. They are also more resistant to changes in temperature and humidity, which can cause solid wood doors to expand or contract. Additionally, veneer molded doors are available in a wide range of styles and finishes, allowing homeowners to choose the look that best suits their preferences and interior design.

It's important to note that veneer molded doors should be used in interior applications only, as they are not suitable for exterior use where they would be exposed to the elements. Regular maintenance and care, such as proper cleaning and avoiding excessive moisture, can help prolong the lifespan of veneer molded doors and keep them looking their best.
