New thin knife cutting and indentation machine was successfully developed

After more than a year of research by the state-level secondary enterprise--Dalian Packaging Machinery Factory engineering and technical personnel, a thin-knife slitting and creasing machine for the tile production line was successfully developed and put into production recently.
Dalian Packaging Machinery Factory is the earliest professional manufacturer of carton machinery in northern China. In recent years, the company has been implementing the company's tenet of “customer first, quality win, and service in place”. Based on the market demand, the company has increased the pace of product technology distribution and technological innovation while paying close attention to product quality, and has achieved remarkable results. Recently, the quality of carton machinery such as corrugated paperboard production line of Dalian Packaging Machinery Factory passed the approval of China Quality Miles Liaoning Station, and the factory was awarded the honorary title of “Panjia Key Promotional Quality Integrity Unit”. The successful development of the thin-knife slitting and creasing machine was another innovation after the development of three-layer and five-layer tile lines, water-based printing slot machines and hot-air presses.
The original slitting and indentation machine of Dalian charter factory that was originally produced with tile lines was cut by two traditional round knives. Among them, the thickness of the round knife is up to 10 mm, and the back angle of the cutting edge is large, which results in greater pressure on the corrugated medium in the process of cutting the cardboard. As a result, the edge of the tile after the slitting is collapsed and a burr occurs, which affects the quality of the corrugated cardboard. In addition, users have reported that round knives have a short life cycle and wear quickly. In general, knives must be ground for hours or even minutes, affecting the efficiency of the tile production line.
In view of the above reasons, Dalian Packaging Machinery Factory started from the end of 2000 and deployed key technical personnel to form a research group, and decided to develop a thin knife slitting and creasing machine to replace the round knife slitting and creasing machine. They have absorbed the advantages of some thin knife slitting machines in the domestic market, combined with the actual production line and stand-alone, designed a unique BFY series thin knife slitting machine.
In terms of structure, the technical personnel of the plant designed the height of the cutting knife holder as an adjustable type that can be moved up and down, left and right, and adapted to various corrugated cardboard production lines. At the same time, the adjustability of the slitter speed and slitting variation is also achieved, in which the slitting speed is up to 80 meters per minute and the slitting width is a maximum of 3 meters. In the blade design of the thin knife slitting machine, the large bale factory adopts a high-quality blade material with a thickness of only 1 mm, which greatly improves the wear resistance, sharpness and service life of the blade. The new slitter thin knife will only be worn once in about two days under normal conditions, and the blade life will also be extended from two to three days of the round knife to six months. The new BFY series thin knife slitting and creasing machine can complete the two processes of slitting and indentation of corrugated cardboard at a time. The edge of the cut tile is smooth and flat, and the product quality is significantly improved.
