Currently the most used are nylon wire mesh and polyester wire mesh. Nylon screen has poor heat resistance, and it is easy to produce thermoplastic deformation after heating, which makes the tension uneven and affects the quality of screen printing. It is not suitable for high-temperature baking for the production of bonded stretch net or silk screen template. Polyester wire mesh has good heat resistance, stable size, and the pattern does not change greatly due to changes in temperature and humidity. In order to ensure the accuracy of screen printing graphics, it is best to use monofilament polyester screen. At the same time, a wire mesh with a high mesh mesh number, a fine wire diameter and a small mesh should be selected. The color of the wire mesh is preferably yellow or brown to prevent vignetting.

three. Stretch the net

It is best to use pneumatic stretch net machine, the quality requirements of stretch net are as follows:

1. Stretched net tension is appropriate and uniform

(1) When using the pneumatic stretch net, when it reaches the tension requirement, it must be allowed to stand for 3-6 hours before applying the stretch net glue;

(2) The stretched net must be placed for at least 24 hours, especially for large goods or machine-printed nets to ensure equal stress at all points and prevent deformation. The screen version with a higher mesh size requires a longer period of placement, generally 2-3 days is appropriate. After being placed, the tension of the screen is stable, and the stress of the name points is equal to ensure that the screen is not deformed and is not easily damaged.
