In 2014, the food supervision and inspection bureau of the Provincial Food and Drug Administration targeted 24 batches, 186 batches, and 11,330 batches, covering food production, distribution and catering services in the province. Judging from the results of supervision and inspection, the overall situation of food quality and safety in our province is good, and the qualified rate of sampling inspection reaches 96.4%.
Supervised random inspection found 405 batches of unqualified samples with a failure rate of 3.6%. Among them, the highest failure rate was for frozen drinks, beverages, baked goods, and alcoholic beverages. In particular, the unqualified rate of frozen drinks reached 11.1%.
Among the sampling samples, there were 140 batches of food with microorganisms exceeding the standard, which accounted for 34.6% of the unqualified batches. The over-standard items were mainly colony index, coliform bacteria, mold, etc. Some of the samples also detected pathogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Salmonella, and L. monocytogenes. The emergence of these microorganisms in excess of standards mainly focused on drinking water, meat products, egg products, frozen drinks, cakes, aquatic products, food and beverages, etc. The main reason for the excessive exposure of microorganisms was that some food production and operation enterprises did not strictly control the hygienic conditions during the production and processing, the cleaning and disinfection of packaging containers was not in place, the sealing of product packaging was not strict, and the storage and transportation conditions were not properly controlled.
Vacuum packaging can effectively avoid food contamination during packaging
