Danielle holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology and African American Studies from Stanford University, which profoundly shaped her understanding of cultural influences on living spaces. Her fascination with how people interact with their surroundings inspired her to pursue interior design, earning a degree from FIDM, The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. Returning to her roots in New York City in 2002, Danielle began her career at the prestigious firm Irvine & Fleming, eventually venturing out independently in 2007.
In 2012, Danielle won HGTV’s “Design Star,†propelling her approachable design philosophy into the mainstream.
