Method for determining the best light value of CTP equipment

The imaging principle of the CTP equipment on the CTP plate is similar to the imaging principle of the laser imagesetter that we usually use. The CTP version it uses is a negative CTP version. Just like the photosensitive film produced by the laser imagesetter, the magnitude of the light value power directly affects the quality of the graphic part of the CTP version. Especially after the linear determination of the emission curve of the CTP device, because the CTP device completely reproduces the dots on the CTP version according to the set curve, it is difficult to judge whether the sensitivity of the graphic part on the CTP version is sufficient with the naked eye. Therefore, at this time, if the light intensity of the CTP device is not enough, it is more likely to cause artifacts. On the CTP plate made under this condition, the image formed by the graphic part is not strong enough, and it is very easy to cause shedding on the machine printing, which makes the work passive.

The CTP printing plate produced by the CTP equipment, whether the quality of the image and text after its imaging meets the standard, it is difficult for us to check with a simple instrument. In other words, this phenomenon can only be avoided by choosing the correct light intensity. So how can we avoid the problem of insufficient sensitivity of the CTP plate caused by too low laser power and insufficient light intensity? Now we will introduce our approach to everyone for your discussion and exchange.

First set a test flat screen with a half point value of 50% to fully expose the CTP version. If the value of the flat screen on the CTP version is 62%, it means that the laser light value at this time is suitable, if it is less than 62 %, Then adjust the laser power (increase) until the flat screen value on the outgoing CTP version reaches 62%. After the light value is determined, 62% of the dots are corrected by adjusting the linearity method-still 50%. In this way, the optical value and linearity of the CTP equipment basically meet the requirements.

Under normal circumstances, the initial optimal technical value of CTP equipment is completed by the after-sales service personnel of the machine. As a general plate-making technician, in the usual daily maintenance work, especially in the initial use stage of the new machine to the factory, because the technical indexes and characteristics of the machine itself are not perfect and comprehensive, this work should still be done Under the guidance and cooperation of the after-sales service technicians of the aircraft.

The Anomatic series of high-quality deep drawn Aluminum Canisters is designed to be compatible with your chosen valves, Actuators and drug formulations.  Our deep drawing process ensures a consistent side wall thickness using high strength aluminum which is far superior to other forming methods.  The aluminum is work hardened during the deep draw process and the surface mechanically polished providing a smooth, hard internal finish suitable for use with both CFC and HFA propellants.

Our standard canister sizes are 10ml, 14ml and 19ml, with customized sizes available. Our canisters are also available in anodized and plasma coated finishes.

Why Anomatic

Headquartered in New Albany, Ohio (USA), Anomatic is the world`s leading supplier of anodized aluminum solutions and offers:

· U.S. and Asia based manufacturing

· State-of-the-art facilities

· Unmatched capacity at 2.5 billion units annually

· cGMP compliant and ISO14001 and ISO9001 certified

· Advanced surface treatment options

· Unrivaled lead times

Anomatic's patented continuous anodizing process creates a smooth, uniform anodized finish that completely covers the inside of the canister, providing a protective barrier for many sensitive formulations.

Aluminum anodization is an electrochemical process that enhances the strength, durability, and appearance of aluminum.  When aluminum is oxidized, super-strong oxide (anodic) layers [grow" on the surface of the metal. These new layers are highly resistant to wear and corrosion.

The exacting part to part consistency achieved with our unique anodizing system cannot be obtained with conventional hoist line systems.  Conventional anodizing systems present parts with varied coating thicknesses and voids formed due to air pocketing.

A consistent uniform 6 µm anodic film thicknesses will protect  certain drug formulations and the canister from degradation.   Heavier film thicknesses of up to 12µm can be provided to meet your more demanding application.
