World's first bottle of bottled wine is about to be listed in the UK

The world’s first bottle of bottled wine is about to enter the British supermarket. The bottle packaging company Green Bottle has just signed an agreement with independent wine supplier Kingsland Wines to bottle wine at its headquarters in Manchester.

Green Myerscough, the founder of Green Bottle, is currently in the final stages of negotiations with major supermarkets in the UK. The supermarket will debut this bottle of bottled wine this fall.

Myerscough said, “We are currently signing a six-month initial marketing agreement starting with one or two wine bottle packaging. Wine supplier Kingsland is currently conducting shelf life testing, but we predict the shelf life of the packaging Like wine: 9-12 months."

Myerscough is currently seeing Australia, California, and France have great interest in this type of carton packaging and plans to bring this invention to the world next year.

“There have been many telephone calls around the world. I’ve just returned from Australia, where I’ve seen a lot of wineries interested in this kind of packaging. Even though French wine traders had previously been informed of the dangers of using such packaging, many French brewers still showed great interest."

As for the pricing issue, he said that the paper bottle packaging is less than 5 pounds, but he warned that if the price is too low, it will "reduce the value of the brand."

The carton packs weigh less than 55 grams and are manufactured at the Myerscough factory and bottled at Kingsland in Manchester.

Myerscough plans to sell a patent for this technology, allowing major companies to establish bottling distilleries near their production sites. This patented machine can produce 50 bottles per minute.

In November last year, the media reported that the amount of carbon dioxide in paper bottle packaging that was disassembled in this course was only 10% of that of a glass bottle. This kind of packaging has a plastic lining, similar to bag wine in the box, to protect the freshness of the liquor.
