The smooth implementation of the series of standards for "Technical Specifications for Components for Smart Energy Meters" will further standardize the procurement, production and use of components by smart energy meter manufacturers, identify potential problems of smart energy meters from the source, and produce smart energy meters. Manufacturers find product defects and improve production processes.
The series of "Technical Specifications for Components for Smart Energy Meters" consists of 15 technical standards, including metering chips, MCUs, liquid crystals, electrolytic capacitors, varistors, current transformers, crystal resonators, clock chips, diodes, resistors. , chip capacitors, optocouplers, primary batteries, load switches, RS-485, etc. The formulation of series standards has laid a foundation for strengthening the quality management of energy meter components, standardizing component performance indicators and test methods, effectively improving the operational reliability of energy meters, and ensuring accurate and reliable energy metering.
At present, the series of technical specifications drafted by the Chinese Academy of Electric Power, "Part 1: Electrolytic Capacitors", "Part 2: Varistors", "Part 3: Resistors" and "Part 4: Photoelectric Coupling" The four technical standards were released in May 2014.
