Europe increases scrap metal recovery

The overall goal is that the total recycling rate of various packaging materials is 25% to 45% in 2001 and 55% to 70% in 2006, in which the metal recovery rate From 15% to 50%.

At present, the recovery of various packaging materials is better in the Nordic countries, especially in Germany, the recovery rate has reached 83%, significantly better than the southern European countries and the United Kingdom, Italy's metal recovery rate was only 7%, the plastic recovery rate was 11% . The country with a higher recovery of other metals is the Netherlands, which is 79%.
