1. The polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) sheathed electrode should be used at room temperature, and should not be used for a long time in an environment with a temperature exceeding 40 ℃.
2. The electrode of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) jacket should not be used in strong acid with a concentration greater than 50%. For the corrosion resistance of PEEK, please refer to the company website
3. If you need to use ultrasound to further process the electrode, you need to pay attention to the following points:
(a) It is not advisable to place the electrode directly on the bottom of the washer to avoid damage to the electrode caused by excessively strong ultrasound;
(b) The electrode of the PTFE jacket should avoid the use of hot cleaning solution;
(c) The polyether ether ketone electrode should avoid the use of strong acid type cleaning solution (refer to the corrosion resistance of PEEK material);
(d) The ultrasound time should not be too long, generally no more than 30s each time;
(e) Keep the container and solution used for ultrasound clean.
4. The applicable range of the working electrode potential is limited. For details, please refer to the website. Care should be taken to avoid excessive current and lead to electrode burnout.
5. Storage of electrodes
After the polishing, ultrasound and other processes are completed, store them in a dry and dark environment at room temperature.
