Procedures of ventilating aging test for building waterproof materials

The steps of ventilating aging test for building waterproof materials are as follows:

1. Before the test, the test piece needs to be numbered and its size measured.

2. According to the test requirements, adjust the test chamber to the specified temperature and ventilation volume. After stabilization, the test piece can be placed on a mesh plate or a rotating frame with a suitable metal clip or wire lined or wrapped with an inert material. The distance between the test piece and the wall of the working chamber is not less than 70mm, the distance between the test piece is not less than 10mm, and the ratio of the volume of the working room to the total volume of the test piece is not less than 5: 1.

For small test pieces that require high test accuracy, it is recommended to use a two-axis rotating frame for testing.

The mutually influential samples are not allowed to be tested in the same box at the same time.

3. When the test piece is placed in a constant temperature aging box, it starts to calculate the aging time. When the specified aging time is reached, it is taken out immediately. The sampling speed should be fast to minimize the temperature change in the box. For the screen or sample holder, in order to reduce the influence of temperature unevenness, the position of the sample on the screen can be periodically exchanged.

4. The sample taken out is parked for 24 hours under standard temperature conditions, and the performance is measured according to the items selected in the test.
