Each link and part may affect its quality. There are many factors affecting a cardboard production process, including temperature, Speed, raw materials, adhesives, equipment adjustments, personnel level of operation, responsibility, etc., the author believes that if we want to improve the rate of qualified cardboard, to solve the quality problems in the production of cardboard, should be adjusted to solve the above problems.

Corrugating machines are the core part of cardboard. Corrugated machines often have some bad products that affect the quality of cardboard. Based on my own experience, the author has listed some problems and solutions for your reference.

Poor adhesion

During the production process of cardboard, many manufacturers will encounter problems with poor adhesion. They should be judged and resolved according to the actual conditions of cardboard production.

Uneven moisture or moisture in the raw materials causes poor adhesion. The author once encountered such a phenomenon. When using paper with a basis weight of 300 grams and a core paper of 180 grams, no gluing phenomenon was found on the single-sided machine, but after slitting the slitter Paper and corrugated paper are separated. After analysis, it was found that the paper was not uniformly moist and the paper was too moist. The raw paper was measured with a moisture meter. The data was 9.8%, 10%, 13.1%, and 15.3% from one side to the Other side. 11.9%. It is well known that the moisture content of paper should be 8%±2. Because the paper is too moist and causes poor adhesion, it is necessary to replace the base paper in time and notify the base paper manufacturer to solve it, or reduce the production speed and dry the moisture to ensure good fit.

Corrugated roller or pressure roller wear, causing poor adhesion. When the cardboard is produced, there is no full-scale production that causes the crowbar or the pressure roller to wear in the middle, and there is a concave; when the narrow range is produced, the two sides are not well-fitted or blistering occurs in the middle, and the two sides do not fit well, generally A cardboard board production line with a width of more than two meters is particularly noticeable. In this case, corundum can be used to grind both sides of the corrugating roller to reduce the dent or to replace the corrugating roller and the pressure roller.

The temperature is not enough to cause poor adhesion of corrugated board. If the temperature is not enough, the liner paper and the core paper will not stick together and the delamination phenomenon will occur. It can be seen that the paste has not been completely gelatinized. At this time, the reason for the insufficient temperature should be checked because the steam pressure in the boiler room is insufficient. The general production speed is more than 100 meters/minute, it should be more than 9 kilograms.) The failure of the steam trap may cause the condensate water to be eliminated or the pipe plugged.

The air pressure is not enough to cause collapse. Whether it is a positive pressure cassette or a vacuum adsorption type corrugating machine, the air pressure is to corrugated the corrugated steel and closely adhered to the corrugated rod, so that the glue stick is even on the corrugated top. The glue is applied and two layers of corrugated cardboard are produced. The insufficient pressure will cause the corrugated layer not to stick to the corrugated rod. This situation can be seen from the edge of the paste wheel. The corrugated sheet is not tightly attached to the corrugating roll. To check the cause of insufficient wind pressure, check whether there is any air leakage, or whether the design pressure of the air duct or the wind is insufficient.

The temperature is not enough to cause collapse. Insufficient temperature will cause the core paper that has entered the corrugated medium not to be ironed and to be collapsed and flawless.

Both ends of the corrugated eccentricity are not adjusted properly and the corrugated corrugated ends are not adjusted. The two ends of the corrugated corrugation are not parallel, so that the core paper entering the corrugating roll is uneven on both sides and collapse occurs. This situation should be re-adjusted to make the corrugated Both ends are parallel.

Corrugated roller pressure is not enough to cause collapse. This situation is especially obvious after the corrugating wear. Check whether the steam pressure or the oil pressure is enough. Check if there are parts that cause oil pressure or steam pressure is not enough. If it needs to be replaced, check it. No leakage of steam, oil leakage and timely solution.

The corrugated paper is of poor quality and causes collapse. The corrugated paper is loose on the edge of the paper. The base paper is elliptical or the paper is too wet. Collapse may occur. Check if the core paper has the above conditions and replace it if necessary.

Corrugated roller wear causes collapse Many cartons have uneven corrugated bars due to the production of a wide variety of sizes of cardboard, or do not produce full width cardboard, making the corrugating roll concave. In the case of a narrow width, it is more likely to collapse. In this case, replace the corrugated rods according to the corrugated usage or increase the pressure of the corrugating roll.

There are about two kinds of irrational suction grooves in the design of corrugated squeezing tanks. One is to install slivers to make good two-layer corrugated cardboard, and it is exported smoothly into the feed belt on the overpass; the second is the vacuum adsorption pump. The resulting tuyere, after passing through the suction trough, forms the corrugated core paper and is tightly attached to the corrugating roll. If the suction trough is too wide, it can not reach the adsorption effect and collapse. If it is too narrow, it will cause corrugation. Poor molding or strength is not enough.

Corrugated paper wrinkled

The raw materials are not good, the inside of the paper is not the same as the elasticity. When this happens, you can feel it by hand. You will find that the paper is loose after being warmed up in the cylinder. It appears to be very smooth. The solution is to change the raw materials: the second is Install the tension parallelizer; third is to make a manual adjustment to make it tight when a loose edge can be found with a manually adjusted device.

Wrinkles caused by machine speeds that are too slow This is usually the case when producing high-weight, high-weight paperboards on single-A machines; speeds below 30 m/min can occur. In response to the above situation, the vehicle speed should be properly increased to reduce wrinkling.

If the gap between the pressure stick and the corrugated stick is uneven or improperly adjusted, the gap between the pressure roller and the corrugating roller should be adjusted in time according to the situation.

The above is a common cause of some cardboard defects and solutions on the corrugating machine. The author thinks that when a bad cardboard occurs, it should be analyzed according to the bad phenomenon of the cardboard. For example, the above-mentioned collapse phenomenon is caused by what kind of phenomenon, it shows that The phenomenon is not the same. It is necessary to analyze and eliminate each one according to the situation on the spot. Do not blindly determine the cause of the problem. This will only increase the complexity of the problem.

There are many factors that can affect the quality of a product that can be produced, including the adjustment of equipment, temperature, speed, adhesives, and personnel operations. In fact, these factors can be complementary. If the quality of the raw material is slightly poor, but if the adjustment and wear of the equipment is within the normal use range, some deficiencies of the base paper can be compensated. In production, whether the paper is not good or some equipment wear, the operator according to the actual situation to make some common adjustments, whether to slow down, or should increase the speed, the pressure roller gap is reduced or increased, etc., can Reduce the appearance of bad products.
