HOW DO I LOCATE A SMALL PUNCTURE IN MY THERM-A-REST?
How do I find a small hole in my Therm-a-Rest?

1. Inflate the Therm-a-Rest mattress by mouth as hard as possible, then quickly close the valve.

2. Then fold the Therm-a-Rest mattress in half or thirds and apply body weight, such as by kneeling. (This will increase the the internal air pressure.)

3. Work a drop of adhesive from any (non thermoset) urethane based adhesive into the puncture. With the mattress deflated, the adhesive will be drawn into the puncture and seal it off.

4. Allow 24 hours to dry, if you can.
