The United States developed a new type of medical polyurethane pressure sensitive adhesive

A new type of medical polyurethane pressure-sensitive adhesive developed by Bristol-Myers, USA, is made from the reaction of polyether polyol, polyester polyol or a mixture of the two with toluene diisocyanate.
The bactericidal agent and the conductive chemical are added to the adhesive, the superabsorbent of the wound exudate is removed and the compound having an effective regenerative ability for wound healing is removed. The adhesive can be used in the preparation of self-adhesive film structures in the medical field, in particular for anastomotic devices, wound dressings, wound dressings and gauze bandages.
