The world's largest co-extrusion blow molding machine

The United States RIKUTEC has developed the world's largest co-extrusion blow molding machine. The company specializes in manufacturing large co-extrusion blow molding machines. Over the past 15 years, the company has provided global users with more than 20 large-scale co-extrusion blow molding machines with a capacity of more than 200 liters.

The machine incorporates a co-extruded storage cylinder die with a capacity of 400 liters. This will produce hollow objects with a volume of 10,000 liters.

The co-extrusion die is designed to produce hollow articles containing 1 to 4 layers of wall-like structures. This technique has a wide range of uses. For example, cheap recycled materials can be regenerated and polyethylene can be combined to produce different material properties.

The 40mm caliber extruder is designed to process high molecular weight polyethylene with a yield of over 2000 kg/h. Therefore, six containers can be made per minute, and the maximum injection volume is about 350 grams. By reducing the injection volume, the throughput can be increased. The four-layer co-extruded storage cylinder die can utilize an extrusion die with a diameter of 1200 mm.

Corresponding to the mechanical size, the clamping force reaches 600 tons. Five clamping liquid cylinders on a large lock plate 6 meters high and 3 meters wide distribute the clamping force evenly.

The aircraft needs 14 meters high, 17.4 meters wide and 15.6 meters thick. It also needs 2 meters deep under the clamping system. The total weight of the machine is about 450 tons.
