Digital Press Color Management

Digital printing machine color management requires three steps:

1, the device linearization (general standard are X-Rite's DTP34 or DTP32)

2, production equipment ICC file (ie, the device's color properties file)

3, embedded in the print server (such as EFI Fiery), complete color gamut conversion.

Only in this way can the gamut of the digital press be accurately reflected. At present, Fuji Xerox digital presses and the NP2100 of Kodak Heidelberg are all equipped with X-Rite DTP34 or DTP32 (linearization) at the factory, and tools for making ICC profiles need to be purchased separately (X-Rite's DTP20, DTP41, DTP45, DTP70 Wait).
