Pliant Launches New Nylon Film for Bulk Products

Pliant, the world's leading supplier of value-added films and packaging solutions, recently introduced its new barrier film, Stratum NS. This product is Pliant's innovative product, which has the advantage of compounding the nylon layer into a multilayer (typically 5 or more layers) blown film structure.

This film is a disposable blown film that is more cost effective than conventional composite nylon structures. Although cast co-extruded nylon film has appeared on the market, blown Stratum NS film itself has higher barrier properties and better hardness and toughness when cut. ”
